WHO WE ARE.
Sisters Creating Content (SCC) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization providing career development and industry resources to minority women, creating original content aimed at making a positive impact on the entertainment market.
OUR MISSION is to provide grants, education, and industry resources to minority women seeking to advance their careers and creative works to the next stage of development.
We support the art of writers, directors, producers, production personnel, artists, and those creating the content that will drive the entertainment market.
Team members across metro Atlanta provide unmatched industry experience, services, and ideas. In addition, we provide production services to clients or partnerships who need help developing content. We are women in positions of leadership and ownership.
We aim to support minority women who are creating original content in all departments of production. Support includes project funding (access to grants), industry resources (referrals for paid work), professional relationships, equipment resources, a broader social network, project marketing, production crew, a platform for your content, accountability partners and pure sisterhood.

OBJECTIVES AND GOALS
The primary objective is to provide grants to at least five independent film/television or creative arts projects per fiscal year. SCC projects have to either feature a minority female actress as the lead character or be produced, directed, or written by a minority female. The candidates for grants must be active members of the organization.
The secondary objective is to educate by teaching independent filmmakers and artists how to successfully create their projects from concept to completion.
The third objective is to establish and support a community of female creatives through career development. The networking opportunities available to our members have proven to result in paid opportunities, collaborations and partnerships, and a broader network.
The fourth objective is to create original content collectively as an organization. Our members have access to artistic endeavors within the company for individual reels and portfolios. We recently launched our Short Film Initiative which is a collective of short films, created and produced by the members of SCC.
The fifth objective is to provide a platform for independent content creators to showcase their art. We serve to support creatives in all departments of production. Our screenings and fundraiser events will highlight our members’ creative achievements providing industry exposure.
